In this guide, we’ll list every romance option in Yakuza: Like a Dragon and the related rewards for each partner. We’ll also break down how to raise your relationship status with each romance option, as they all have different preferences. Finally, we’ll explain benefits of entering into a relationship with every romance option at once.

How to enter a relationship with every romance option in Yakuza: Like a Dragon

In Yakuza: Like a Dragon, there are six female NPCs that Ichiban can romance by chatting outside of their normal occupation. You can improve your relationship with these NPCs by giving them gifts. Different characters want different gifts, so you’ll need to judge what they’d like, find something, then hope they respond well. You can find gifts scattered around the world, in shops, and by crafting them with the help of the Survive Barkeep. Once you’ve handed them a few gifts and they’ve responded well, you’ll need to raise your personality stats to unlock new tiers of romance. Unfortunately this isn’t as exciting as it sounds. It basically means handing out more gifts. When you’ve finally handed them a bunch of gifts they like, you’ll max out their relationship meter and you can officially enter a romantic relationship with them. Below, we list every romance option in Yakuza: Like a Dragon and the stats, gifts, and other requirements you’ll need to enter a relationship:

Eri Kamataki

Eri is a party member who requires Ichiban to reach rank 10 in Kindness and the top rank in business management. This will increase your bond with Eri to the max level, at which point you can enter Ichiban Holdings to ask her on a date in a cutscene. You can then head to Survive Bar to trigger a second cutscene and enter a romantic relationship.

Saeko Mukoda

Saeko is a party member who requires Ichiban to reach rank 10 in Style. You also need to max out your bond by bringing Saeko into battles and completing her Drink Links at the Survive Bar. Afterwards, you can head back to Survive Bar for a cutscene which indicates you are in a romantic relationship.

Manae Miyakoshi

Manae works at the Ounabara Vocational School, which you can visit starting in Chapter 4. After unlocking the school and meeting Manae, you must complete the following:

Complete all of the Ounabara school tests. Reach Intellect rank 10. Give Manae 16 lilies (one at Intellect rank 4, five at Intellect rank 7, and 10 at Intellect rank 10).

Ririka-Chan

Ririka works at Hello Work, which you’ll first visit in Chapter 3. However, you can’t change jobs until Chapter 5, and this is a crucial aspect of entering a relationship with Ririka. After unlocking the option to change jobs, you must do the following:

Try out every job. Reach Confidence rank 10. Give Ririka 16 pansies (one at Confidence rank 4, five at Confidence rank 7, and 10 at Confidence rank 10).

Sumire Sawa

Sumire works at the Romance Workshop, which you can visit starting in Chapter 5. After unlocking the workshop and meeting Sumire, you must complete the following:

Upgrade the workshop to rank 4 (costs a total of 22,200,000 Yen). Reach Passion rank 10. Give Sumire 16 bonsai plants (one at Passion rank 4, five at Passion rank 7, and 10 at Passion rank 10).

Iroha Yanagi

Iroha works at Survive Bar, which you can visit starting in Chapter 4. After unlocking the bar and meeting Iroha, you must complete the following:

Complete 40 party chats. Reach Charisma rank 10. Give Iroha 16 roses (one at Charisma rank 4, five at Charisma rank 7, and 10 at Charisma rank 10).

Many of the romance options require a specific plant, which you can simply purchase from Flowers 2 Go for a hefty sum. If you don’t want to pay lots of Yen, you can also learn more about gardening in Yakuza: Like a Dragon.

What happens if you romance all six options at once?

Eri and Saeko, the first two romance options listed above, are party members who do not offer a reward for entering a romantic relationship. The latter four romance options can each be recruited as an employee at Ichiban Holdings after entering a romantic relationship. However, the biggest bonus comes from romancing all six women at once. If you enter a romantic relationship with all six women, you can head to Survive Bar to start a new substory named “The Lone Survivor”. Complete this substory to receive a +10 boost to your Defense stat. That’s all for this page, but we’ve got plenty more Yakuza: Like A Dragon guides.
